We can also make occasion wear to order for family or guests. If you require a specific style/colour, or see something in store that you wish to customise, we can help. The first step is to come to our shop to see the ready to wear collection; then meet with Kajal if you wish to have something customised and made to measure.

With over 15 years experience in Wedding & Occasion Couture, Kajal has a great depth of understanding of design, Indian fashion and textiles. We will help you chose or design outfits that fit your personal style. It is paramount to us that our customers feel confident and fabulous when wearing Kajal’s Couture.

Our Ready to Wear collections in store are available to purchase instantly and can be altered to size within a short time frame. Our off the rack designs are updated often and designed in house, so you can be sure to find something exclusive in the latest styles and fabrics.

• Alterations on our ready to wear pieces are carried out by trusted third party tailors that have extensive experience working with Indian garments.
• After you have chosen an outfit, your measurements will be taken at the shop by our trained staff.
• The outfit must be paid for in full before it is altered to your size.
• The outfit is then sent to the tailor. Alterations timeframes depend on the tailors workload and time of year- however we advise approximately 10 days to 2 weeks for standard alterations.
• Next day/ 1 week alterations are offered with an extra charge for an express service.
• 'Non standard' alterations that involve changes beyond basic size fitting may take longer. The customer will be advised of this at the time of purchase.
• While we always do our best to keep the cost of basic alterations to a minimum, there may be charges for large changes.
• We only carry out alterations to our garments bought from our shop.
